OBEY THE RULES OF THE PIT. - Post in the office and throughout the quarry.

ACCOUNTS – A credit application must be submitted and approved before an account is opened. Purchases made on account are NET 30 from the invoice date. If payment is not made by the due date a finance charge of 1.5% per month (ANNUAL PERCENTAGE RATE OF 18%) will be charged until paid. Reasonable collection fees, lien fees, and attorney fees are to be paid with or without suit. Total purchases made on account are to never ex- ceed maximum credit limit. Account terms are as said unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

CASH PURCHASES – A cash purchase is any purchase not made on account. A cash purchase must be paid at time of purchase.

CONTRACTOR PRICING - Minimum charge may apply. Prices are listed per ton. Prices do not include sales tax. Customer account not required to qualify for commercial pricing.

CREDIT APPLICATION - By submitting a credit application, Sorensen Sand & Gravel is authorized to make in- quiries into the banking and business/trade references that you have supplied.
IMPORTING MATERIAL - Sorensen Sand & Gravel reserves the right to accept or reject any material being im- ported. Dumb charge and fees may apply.

PAYMENTS – Forms of payment accepted: Cash, Check, Credit/Debit Cards.
PICK-UP LOAD PRICING - A flat rate charge which already includes sales tax is given on each product. Sorry no adjustments are made for partial loads. If customer is unable to get a full load the flat rate charge still applies and customer must pay the flat rate charge for each load/visit. Loads may not be split between vehicles. Customers are loaded at their own risk. We are not responsible for flat tires, broken windshields, or any other damage that occurs to vehicle while visiting gravel pit or afterwards.
PIT SAFETY – All visitors must check in at office. Speed limit is 10 MPH. Drivers and passengers are to stay in vehicle at all times unless otherwise authorized. Do not get out of vehicle while being loaded. Hardhat, steel toed boots, safety glasses, and safety vest to be worn at all times while out of vehicle, except entering and exiting office. Front end loaders, dozers, and other heavy equipment have right of way to trucks. Visitors are to obey all safety signs, markings, warnings, etc. Visitors are to remain at least 100 feet away from all conveyors, screens, and crushers at all times.
PRODUCT QUALITY/SPECIFICATIONS - Sorensen Sand & Gravel is committed to offering quality material for all applications. Material is not washed unless otherwise specified. Due to weather conditions, source material condition and many other conditions actual product quality may vary. He/she that signs for material is responsible for inspecting quality of material at time of purchase. It is recommended to get a sample of material before pur- chasing. If a Sieve Analysis or Proctor is needed please contact the main office. Projects that must meet certain specifications should have material approved before purchase.
RECEIPT – A receipt is to be given with all purchases. He/she that signs receipt takes responsibility of acceptance of product. Receipt should be checked for error. Any error that is found should be reported to Sorensen Sand & Gravel immediately. He/she that signs receipt accepts material type, size, cleanliness, and quality. All those that sign receipts become agents for buyer and should take responsibility that correct product is purchased and that product quality will meet satisfaction of buyer.
RELEASE OF RESPONSIBILITY – We are not responsible for flat tires, broken windshields, or any other dam- age that occurs to vehicle while visiting gravel pit.
RETURNS - Product accompanied with receipt/ticket may be returned within 7 business days for a full refund. No refund for returns after 7 business days. Customer responsibility for returning any product. All delivery services are final and no refunds are made for delivery services. Returns may not qualify for a full refund if product has been mixed with other materials, dirt, debris, etc.

SALES TAX – All purchases are subject to sales tax. All tax exempt purchases must be accompanied by an official tax exempt form. Utah State Sales Tax is 6.85% as of January 2009.
